Photo Restoration

Old photographs carry stories worth preserving. Our photo restoration and retouching services can repair fading, scratches, stains, cracks, and tears; improve color; and address missing or damaged image areas when possible. We can also colorize black-and-white photographs and make requested changes to people, objects, or backgrounds. Results depend on the condition of the original and the image detail available.

Getting Started

Bring your original photograph to our Santa Barbara lab, mail it to us, or send us a digital file. We'll review the image, discuss what you'd like restored, and provide an estimate.

Restoration Pricing

Photo restoration starts at $50. Pricing depends on the condition of the image and the complexity of the work. We'll provide an estimate before proceeding and contact you for approval if the cost needs to increase significantly.

Scanning or digital capture of your original, when needed, is priced separately. See our Print Scans service for details.

Your Restored Image

Your completed restoration includes a digital file with complimentary electronic delivery. A USB drive or data DVD is available for an additional charge. Physical prints are priced separately, including standard photographic prints and fine art prints.

Turnaround

Photo restoration typically takes five working days. Additional time may be required for scanning, digital capture, or printing.
