SHIPPING‍

Color Services ships worldwide with USPS and FedEx. We will choose the most cost-effective shipping carrier based on the items ordered and their destination. You will receive a tracking number when your order has been shipped. All shipments are packed with care. We have learned through long experience the best way to package our products. Fine Art Prints are covered with acid-free tissue paper and shipped flat for sizes up to 16x24. Larger sizes are rolled around a 4-inch tube that is placed inside a box.

U.S. Shipping

Our Standard U.S. Shipping is via Trackable USPS for most small items. Larger items are shipped via FedEx Ground.

International Shipping, Expedited Shipping and Special Requests

Shipping quotes are available for large orders, expedited shipping or orders shipping to international destinations. Please contact us at hello@colorservices.com with details of what will be ordered and the shipping address. You may be subject to extra import and/or customs fees upon delivery depending on your country of residence.

Ship to 3rd Party

The option of Ship to 3rd Party to clients or gift recipients is provided at checkout. No pricing paperwork is included in drop shipments. Premium Packaging is available as an add-on option for prints up to size 11x14. With Premium Packaging, your prints will arrive in a kraft gift box with cream tissue paper and a twine bow.

Shipping Film to Color Services

We recommend shipping your film to us in a padded envelope along with your printed order form. We also have Free Shipping Kits and Order Forms that we can mail to you. To learn more, go to colorservices.com/film-processing

Shipping Other Originals to Color Services

The single best thing you can do to protect your originals is to ship them in a sturdy box. The sturdier the box, the safer the shipment! Use bubble wrap or crumpled paper for padding so your originals don't slide around in transit.

- Video Tapes and Home Movies‍

We recommend that you label your media before we digitize it. If you want them transferred in a particular order, please number them too. More information and an Order Form is available on our Video Transfers page.

- Prints or Film for Shoebox Scans

It is helpful if you can include an estimate of the size of your order but a precise count is not required. We will get a final tally from our quantity of scans.

Photos: Shoebox Scans are for photos from 2.5” x 3.5” to 8.5” x 11”. Photos can be grouped in envelopes, resealable plastic bags, shoe boxes or dedicated photo boxes. You may use index cards to divide and sort your photos, and if you label the cards in numerical order, we will scan in that order. Prints cannot be submitted in albums.

35mm Slides: Slides can be grouped in slide boxes and bundled with rubber bands. Recycled boxes from aluminum foil, wax paper or plastic wrap also make excellent boxes for slides. Slides submitted in slide pages may incur additional costs.

35mm Negatives: Negatives that are grouped in plastic sleeves or binder pages can be boxed as-is. Our staff will remove them from the sleeves, scan each negative and return them to the sleeves in the same order as received. Loose strips of negatives can be grouped in envelopes.
